One of the best parts of doll making is getting the chance to plan and make dolls for wonderful people. These dolls were ordered as special Christmas presents from loving husbands… ❤ ❤ ❤
Merry Christmas Susie!
Joyeux Noel Suzanne!
❤ One of the things I found quite touching is that both of these dolls had dresses ordered from two of the same fabrics. That just seemed meant to be, as they were both presents from husbands to their very sweet wives.

My name is Paula Walton. I’m a working craftsperson. I’ve been self-employed since 1986, when I started selling the items that I make under the name A Sweet Remembrance. Among other things, I am a doll maker, a dressmaker that specializes in reproduction women’s and children’s clothing, maker of spun cotton ornaments and holiday figures, and a freelance designer. Upon occasion I write magazine articles and am a Craftsperson in Residence. I teach and do demonstrations quite frequently, plus I was previously the director and curator of a small museum in Connecticut.

Hi Paula, Thankyou for the beautiful pictures of Anna in her new clothes. I don’t have a favorite outfit because I love them all. I think the dresses turned out so pretty.
Also, I wanted to mention how much I love the way you painted Anna’s eyes, they are so beautiful and I’m always drawn to them when I pick Anna up, plus she has such a younger look about her. Steve just loves her and Charlcie.
Suzanne, Charlcie & Anna
You are so very welcome. Thank you, it makes me so happy to know you both love her! I hope Charlcie is excited and enjoys having a little sister. I’m sure she is much too sweet a doll to be even the least bit jealous of all the attention that Anna is getting 🙂
Happy New Year to all of you!
