I’ve just finished new dresses for both girls, to help fill their trunk and give them new outfits for Easter and warm summer days. ❤

A pair of silk plaid dresses cut on the bias with velvet ribbon trim ❤

Silk paid taffeta, with a cartridge pleated skirt and lots of black velvet trim ❤

Sheer white antique cotton dresses with summery red blooms and antique red French cotton tape.

Those are beautiful! That material looks slippery though- were they harder than usual?

  Yes! They were all a bear to work with! The silk is bias cut on the plaid ones and the white flowered cotton is so sheer that the only way I could sew on it was to starch it first… They were a bit of a challenge, but since they were my brain child I knew what I was getting into. 🙂 I’m really happy with the way they turned out!
