My name is Paula Walton. I’m a working craftsperson. I’ve been self-employed since 1986, when I started selling the items that I make under the name A Sweet Remembrance. Among other things, I am a doll maker, a dressmaker that specializes in reproduction women’s and children’s clothing, maker of spun cotton ornaments and holiday figures, and a freelance designer. Upon occasion I write magazine articles and am a Craftsperson in Residence. I teach and do demonstrations quite frequently, plus I was previously the director and curator of a small museum in Connecticut.

So excited, can’t wait to see her!!! Adah and I send regards.
Marilyn and Adah
Marilyn,
You can tell Ahah that I am hoping to get her newest sister finished in time to celebrate Izannah Walker’s birthday on September 25th. Keep your fingers crossed, since I have a lot to get done between now and then. I’ve been doing restoration work for the past couple of weeks, and still have a lot left to do on the three dolls I’m in the process of restoring. I kind of squeezed making Ismay’s mold and this head into little bits and pieces of time when I was waiting for paint and fabric to dry 🙂
Much love to you and Adah!
Paula
How amazing she look like the original. How big a doll will she be?
Suzanne,
Thank you! She should be 18-19 inches tall.

Hi Paula – how exciting! I can’t wait to see how she looks all finished and dressed! It is always so much fun to look at the new pictures of your dolls – it makes my day! Susie
Hi Susie,
I’m really looking forward to seeing how she turns out too 🙂 I’m in the midst of doing some restoration work and filling some orders at the moment, so all I can do right now is look longingly in her direction every now and then and mentally start planning her wardrobe…
I hope you had a wonderful long weekend!
❤ Paula
