My name is Paula Walton. I’m a working craftsperson. I’ve been self-employed since 1986, when I started selling the items that I make under the name A Sweet Remembrance. Among other things, I am a doll maker, a dressmaker that specializes in reproduction women’s and children’s clothing, maker of spun cotton ornaments and holiday figures, and a freelance designer. Upon occasion I write magazine articles and am a Craftsperson in Residence. I teach and do demonstrations quite frequently, plus I was previously the director and curator of a small museum in Connecticut.

I loved the article and look forward to meeting you and the family at the Jenny Lind show!
Thank you! We are looking forward to seeing you too! ❤
I think they could sell many of this issue and why cannot they print another “batch”? The article is outstanding and has so much information in it and it is a keeper. Billie
Thanks Billie! Maybe they will decide to print more… That would be nice. I’m not sure what the costs involved would be… I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
And how I wish I could come see the dolls in person! Please post lots of pictures for all those, like me, who cannot be there! No, it’s not as good as “being there” but it is still wonderful! Billie
Billie, I will post some photos. Since all the dolls are not mine, we are going with a “no photography” policy, but I will be taking a few for doll show publicity… maybe just of my dolls. We’ll have to wait and see. I’ll have to discuss photos with the other owners. I’m just so thrilled and thankful that others are willing to bring their dolls and allow me to put them in the exhibit!!! ❤
Hope to be there. How is my little Miss Anna doing? I will send a photo of my Miss Pauline for the missing dolls.
Hi Mary!
I was hoping you would be able to come. Miss Anna is looking pretty good! 🙂
