Welcome! We are so glad you could come!!! Come in and let us show you around. 🙂
Welcome! As with everything else in my life, my new painting studio is a work in progress. Hopefully next year there will be a colonial flower garden in front of the studio.
Make yourself at home. Feel free to look around! The dolls have been busy decorating all day. 🙂
Isabeau, Eliza Jane, Ismay and Memory are in the kitchen finishing up all the last minute party preparations…

Little Izzybelle is watching out of the window to see who is coming next!
Here, let me take your coat. The party will start in just a few minutes. 🙂
My name is Paula Walton. I’m a working craftsperson. I’ve been self-employed since 1986, when I started selling the items that I make under the name A Sweet Remembrance. Among other things, I am a doll maker, a dressmaker that specializes in reproduction women’s and children’s clothing, maker of spun cotton ornaments and holiday figures, and a freelance designer. Upon occasion I write magazine articles and am a Craftsperson in Residence. I teach and do demonstrations quite frequently, plus I was previously the director and curator of a small museum in Connecticut.

I love the contrast between your modern studio and the antique, well loved decoration and furnishings. I think your Izzays will be happy to be born here.
Lovely party, thank you, Happy Halloween to all! So enjoyed your studio tour, an added bonus!
Thank you Marilyn!!! Needless to say the studio doesn’t always look quite so festive 🙂
